Tresor Capital is a trade name of Tresor Capital B.V., a Maastricht-based private limited company supervised by the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets (AFM) and De Nederlandsche Bank (DNB). Through its European passport, Tresor Capital is authorized to provide its investment services freely within the EU.

Legal & Compliance

Tresor Capital is committed to a corporate culture of integrity. Part of this is strict compliance with laws and regulations. This makes Legal & Compliance an important part of business operations. To ensure the quality of this, Tresor Capital works closely with compliance consultants specialized in compliance activities with excellent knowledge of the relevant laws and regulations.

Complaint Procedure

Although Tresor Capital makes every effort to look after the interests of its clients as well as possible in accordance with the applicable conditions and agreements made, it is possible that in an occasional case a client considers that Tresor Capital has not acted correctly. In that case, the attached procedure applies.

Compensation Policy

Tresor Capital’s remuneration policy is designed to be a prudent, controlled and sustainable remuneration policy in line with Tresor Capital’s strategy and risk appetite, corporate values and business principles. In drafting it, the longer-term interests of Tresor Capital and its clients, the relevant international context and public support have been taken into account. This remuneration policy serves inter alia to comply with Section 23f of the Prudential Rules Decree Wft, Section 35i of the Financial Institutions (Conduct of Business) Decree Wft and the Regulation on Restrained Remuneration Policy Wft 2021. These rules together constitute the remuneration policy as it applies to the categories of employees of Tresor Capital. The variable remuneration is determined by the Management Board, cannot exceed 20% of the fixed salary and relates to a maximum of 10 employees.  Tresor Capital shall in any event reclaim any variable compensation paid to a employee if, the person failed to meet appropriate standards of competence and proper conduct, or was responsible for conduct that caused Tresor Capital’s position to deteriorate significantly.

Tresor Capital and sustainability

On March 10, 2021, the European Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR) came into force. This regulation deals with disclosures related to “sustainability in the financial services sector.” In the appendix (downloadable via the link below) you can read how Tresor Capital deals with this.
